Hello.

Thanks for stopping by. I’m a Michigan boy who has lived in NYC over 30 years. I am a licensed NYC tour guide and member of Guides Association of New York City (GANYC). I’ve guided hundreds of NYC Walking and Biking Tours. I have Red Cross First Aid and CPR certification (but don’t get any ideas to put it to the test, please!).

I specialize in our city’s parks, and I love bike tours, but I also offer walking tours of Brooklyn Bridge and the waterfront, Central Park, the Highline and Governors Island. If the tour times offered do not suit your schedule, please feel free to message me and we’ll see if we can find a time that works for both of us. I am also happy to create a custom itinerary for your NYC Walking Tours and NYC Bike Tours that takes you and your group wherever you care to go and explores your interests.

I’m running a one-man show here and will give you personal attention you won’t find elsewhere. My tours are intimate groups, so you won’t be lost in the crowds of large operators who herd tourists like cattle.

I endeavor to educate and entertain with a mix of NYC history, local color and a healthy serving of pop culture, including the stars’ home and many locations you’re sure to recognize from TV and films. And, of course, I know the best spot to get pictures that will really wow your Instagram followers.

Leave the navigation to me so you can just enjoy the picturesque views of the best landmarks of our city.

If the tour times offered here does not suit your schedule, please feel free to message me and we’ll see if we can find a time that suits us both. Guests of all ages from kids to seniors are welcome too. It’s a great family activity.

Happy and safe travels! — Scott

Two Truths and a Lie About Scott
Which of the following are true, and which is the fabrication?

  • Scott once appeared on an episode of Sex and the City.
  • Scott’s family arrived in New York before the American revolution.
  • Scott was a classmate of Madonna’s at University of Michigan

Think you know? To reveal the answer click the arrow:

#3 is the lie. While the Material Girl and I may have co-habitated the Great Lakes State for a brief period, we did not attend the same schools. Also, she’d clocked out of Michigan for NYC’s East Village before I entered college, she’s a little older.

Regarding, #1 and #2, my torso can be spotted in the Season 2, Episode 11 of Sex and the City, titled “Evolution.” Nope. Can’t see my face. It was a brunch scene (of course) recorded at Queens’ Silver Cup Studios. No, I didn’t speak to the leads (that’s a faux pas for extras). I did later meet Cynthia Nixon on the set of a photo shoot I art directed. I’d never heard of S&TC at the time, as it hadn’t yet become the cultural sensation it was destined to become. On #2, my cousin traced our American family roots back to Samuel Wooledge entering the US in Albany, NY from Wales in 1764. Oddly, the family thought we were English before she did the homework. (Wales? England? What do we Americans know?)
