Doyers Street

We’ll begin in lower Manhattan and on the way to Brooklyn, we can swing through NYC’s Chinatown and see charming Doyers Street, perhaps take in some baked treats. We can also swing by famous Canal Street in case anyone wants to pick up a knock-off Chanel purse, or the like.

Williamsburg, NYC

Over the Williamsburg Bridge, into Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood, coffee shops, vintage stores, vinyl record shops, etc

Oneg Heimishe Bakery: Williamsburg Brooklyn

Williamsburg also has the largest Jewish community outside of Israel. We can stop by the Oneg Bakery, maybe share their famous Babka, a layered dessert bread that comes in cinnamon and chocolate flavors.

Bushwick Collective

Bushwick Collective is an astonishing large collection of street art, murals, tagging and graffiti like you’ll find nowhere else. Ten square city blocks showcase some of the world’s most talented street artists. Artichoke Pizza is near and very delcious.

Domino Park

Tucked under the Williamsburg Bridge, charming East River facing park sits on former industrial area, including a Domino Sugar processing plant that has been converted into office building. Home to a delicious taco stand.

Brooklyn Rooftop reds

Former home of US Navy Ship building operations, has been converted into a thriving office and light industry park. It houses 30 stage television and movie production studio, a winery, a whiskey distillery and an urban farm. Pictured: Rooftop Reds, a rooftop vineyard and winery that is open to tours and tastings.

Washington St.

View of the Manhattan Bridge from DUMBO, perhaps the most Instragrammed place in NYC.

Siren Craft Brew & Evil Twin Brew Day

DUMBO is home to Evil Twin Brewery, which is open for tours.

Brooklyn Bridge Summer

Stretching two kilometers along East River, Brooklyn Bridge Park offers breathtaking views of the Manhattan Skyline, East River and Brooklyn Bridge.

Coal fired pizza at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge
Esplanade...

Public plaza offers gorgeous views of Manhattan Skyline, East River and New York Harbor. If we time it, we can arrive about sunset and watch the skyline light up.

Brooklyn Bridge

We’ll return to Manhattan via the famous Brooklyn Bridge, 14 years of construction culminated in the opening in 1883 in the largest suspension bridge in the world at the time. If we have any spare time and energy, we can take in close sites such as Wall Street, South Street Seaport or World Trade Center site.
